A pop of pink on an otherwise dreary day? You bet. Rain boots? Not a chance.

A friend recently took me to a tiny gem of a jewelry store in Nolita, Gas Bijoux. I was in heaven! The tiny space glittered with gold, beads and rhinestones.  There were a few themes that popped up in many styles, such as the ‘Jack’ skull, letter beads, wrapped leather, tigers and scroll work. I especially love the tassle earrings, a popular trend for summer.

  1. Idylle earrings
  2. Amour Macra bracelet, 78 €
  3. Jack bracelet, 81 €  (big surprise on the skull!)
  4. Tresse earrings, 137 €

Is it the Lily-esque bun, conservative stripes or the East 60s location? Feeling very polished in this wear-with-anything blazer, mixing it up with a leopard scarf and shoes. The jacket was bought on a whim, but has turned out to be incredibly versitile.

Found on ebay! Not quite the same as the one in this post, but I love it. I’m going through a skull phase, buying up rings, artwork and t-shirts. Can’t seem to get enough of them at the moment.

I love the idea of weaving ribbon into a braid. I like this style, but it might be a little too Heidi-esque for me. Check out the tutorial at Refinery29.

Still loving last summer’s braids.

Any tips for managing a side french braid by yourself?

Not sure I could pull this off, but I love this DIY floral headband. It screams summer and sunshine.

Love Atlantic-Pacific’s classic and polished updo. Need a tutorial!

A faux bob? This one looks be easy and should work with my curls.
