blazer spiegel, t-shirt old navy, skirt aqua, shoes 9 west, black necklaces vintage

Now that I’m almost finished with Operation Closet Clean-out, I can see the gaps in my wardrobe that make creating new and interesting outfits challenging. I have plenty of skirts and pants, but hardly any shirts. No wonder I always feel like I’m wearing the same thing! And when I need a jacket or sweater, 95% of my options are black. Satin, cotton, long, cropped, boyfriend, beaded, velvet, ruffled—all black! Yes, yes, I know, New Yorkers are supposed to live in black, but I’m trying to break that habit. This bright pink number is one of the few colorful exceptions.
